All right, I’m going to be good and get only what I need.- me before I head into Trader Joe’s.
And all I ended up with was three jars of cookie butter, two bottles of wine, a chocolate bar, and some cheese?!?- me after I leave Trader Joe’s.
Is this not the Trader Joe’s Experience?! We can’t help it! There’s goodness on every aisle. And, they’re constantly raising the bar by creating amazing new products that we all need! Keyword: need. Haha. Anyway, let’s get to a few of my must-haves and favorites.
If you don’t know about cookie butter, I’m just wondering what rock you live under. Kidding! But, let me help you with this. Cookie Butter is made out of TJ’s Speculoos cookies- a caramelized, thin, crispy, cinnamon-y, almost gingerbread-y flavor Belgian cookie. So, think peanut butter but made outta this yummy cookie. It’s outta this world! It tastes amazing on toast, waffles, ice cream, with sliced apples, or on a spoon. A spoonful straight from the jar is my favorite way to eat it. There’s no shame in my game! Ha!
Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
Hands down, my favorite thing from Trader Joe’s!! They took everything that goes on top of an everything bagel and put it in a jar. There’s nothing it’s not good on but my absolute favorite to put it on is avocado toast. Try it, I promise you’ll never eat avocado toast without it again!
Coconut Pancake Mix
If you love coconut this mix is for you! This mix has the best coconut flavor but it’s not overpowering. It’s also a tad sweet, but not too sweet. It even has a few crunchy coconut flakes throughout the mix.
Toasted Coconut Granola
If you ever ate frosted flakes growing up this granola will give you all the nostalgia! It’s got cornflakes mixed in between rolled oats and coconut chips. It’s crunchy and perfectly sweet (not overly sweet). I love it on top of yogurt with fruit or in my smoothies for a yummy texture!
Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend
Frozen Brown Rice
I literally swear by this rice. Before I found this magic, I rarely cooked rice because it was always so hard to get just right. This rice comes out perfect every single time. All you do is pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes and you have perfect rice every single time!
Spicy Cheese Crunchies
I just found these this week. OH MY GOSH! They are SOOOO good you guys! Think spicy Cheetos without all the guilt and chemicals. Haha. Oh, and they’re gluten-free. But, I promise they don’t taste gluten-free!
Cocoa Almond Cashew Milk
This is a favorite of my girls. I like that it’s not laced with a ton of sugar. But, I don’t necessarily love it because it’s not rich and creamy like the chocolate milk that I grew up on. My girls know nothing else other than nut milk so they don’t know what they’re missing and LOVE it!
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
These are like an adult version of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. They’re not as sweet as the traditional version because of the dark chocolate. And, the peanut butter is actually good quality peanut butter not whatever weird concoction that is in Reese’s. You can buy them in a small pack for a buck or spend a few more dollars and get the big container. I totally recommend the big container because they’ll disappear from your pantry before you know it!
Honestly, I don’t think there’s any better place to buy chocolate. They have such a good selection and the quality is really good. Lately, my go-to has been the dark chocolate with hazelnuts bar. The dark chocolate is pretty smooth and it’s loaded with crunchy hazelnuts! But, don’t stop there when you’re looking. There are so many options- you’re bound to find a favorite!
Flowers at Trader Joe’s
The flower selection never ever fails me! EVER! They have everything from pretty greenery (which is my favorite) to pretty peonies. And, they’re always reasonably priced. I can usually get flowers for less than 7$.
A few other things I love from Trader Joe’s
Organic White Cheddar Mac n Cheese
Greek Goddess Dressing
Rose Hand Cream
Hibiscus Agua Fresca
