I’m back again with another collaboration with Sephora inside JCPenney.. And, this time I’m talking about “Styled in Seconds” instant-fix hair solutions. I was tasked with trying out the new Drybar Detox Dry Conditioner and let me tell you ladies something. LADIES… you thought dry shampoo changed the game. Whelp, dry conditioner is next level, haha. But no seriously, it’s that good.
Dry conditioner adds shine to your hair, separates your strands, and gives your hair life. It also gives your hair beautiful shine and tons of moisture. But, it’s just enough moisture NOT to weigh your already dirty and greasy hair down. Dry conditioner is different from dry shampoo in that it focuses on the ends and body of your hair, instead of the roots and scalp.
When I wash and blow out my hair it usually never looks good until the second or third day after the wash. Unless I use a ton of products which usually leave my hair super oily and in turn means I have to wash my hair a lot sooner. (I usually try to wash my hair only once a week). So, when I was testing out the dry conditioner I tried spraying a little of it in my hair as I was finishing off my blow out with the round brush. It was complete perfection. My hair was so smooth and shiny but not super greasy. Giving me that second day hair look on the first day!
I’ve also been using it throughout the life of my blow out and I’m totally loving the results. Honestly, I kind of like it better than dry shampoo. It just refreshes my hair in a different way than dry shampoo. Usually, even when I use dry shampoo my ends still feel stringy dry and uncooperative. It’s the complete opposite when I use dry conditioner. My ends are so soft and manageable, my hair is shiny and moisturized and overall looks just as fresh as when I washed. Listen guys, I’m thinking I might have to wash my hair even less than I already do. Haha, you’re calculating all the time you’ll be saving, huh?
Wait! I almost forgot to tell you about the smell of the dry conditioner. You guys. The smell is everything! It is easily my favorite smelling hair product. And, the smell actually lasts for awhile. It’s not there one minute and gone the next.
I highly suggest adding this bad boy to your hair care routine because it’s #SoWorthIt! Don’t worry this isn’t one of those hair products that’ll have you selling your first born to afford it. You can snag one of these bottles of DryBar dry conditioner at any Sephora inside JCPenney. If you don’t know about #SephoraInJCP, now you know. It’s a genius solution to running from store to store. You can get all your beauty products in the open air Sephora (that’s inside JCPenney) and grab all of your home and clothing needs throughout the rest of JCPenney.
You gotta tell me if you try this out and if you loved it!
